To order trailer lights you will want to order by part number on your lights or by the size of the light you will need. The SAE stands for the Society of Automotive Engineers and the 97 DOT stands for the Department Of Transportation. These part numbers are usually on the lenses of most all trailer lights.

The Wesbar trailer light 102640 has a sealed capsule so the bulb cannot be replaced. Part 403356 is a replacement capsule but this is no longer made. It is likely to be both easier and less costly in the long run to simply replace that light with LED lights # 271595 and # 271594.
There are still incandescent lights available from Wesbar if you prefer, # 403026 and # 403076.

At this time there is not a version of the Bargman LED, Surface Mount, Double Tail Light, # 47-84-610, that incorporates a license plate light at the bottom of the housing.

The Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light # MCL48AB uses a three wire setup which means that the light has two light intensities. A lower intensity for the running light circuit and a brighter intensity that will come on when the brakes or turn signal is activated. The headlights do not need to be on for the blinker to work. The 102640 that you have referenced is for the older generation light like the Wesbar Submersible Low Profile Trailer Tail Light, # 403026, or # 403076. For your situation, the best option is to replace the tail lights with the newer models that I just listed. Unfortunately the capsules in the older units are sealed and the bulbs are not replaceable.
